Google is testing its mobile browser’s new video feature. Have you ever begun to use the Chrome web app from Google on your Android phone only to remember you don’t know what you’re doing? Google, according to Chrome Story (via AndroidPolice), has a solution to this. While within the browser, Chrome users will be able to display video tutorials. These videos have begun to surface on unreliable web browser versions that can be enabled from the Google Play Store on your Android phone.

These include the Chrome Canary app for developers with nightly updates and the Chrome Dev app for the stable version of the browser that contains new features being tested by Google. You will need to activate a flag to check out the videos being tested in Canary. If you install Chrome Canary and check for #video-tutorials, you can do this. You’ll need to activate the flag that adds a new video card to the web.

You will note right now that the videos that are given to you are simply placeholders for the Google Go app. The titles listed for these videos, however, indicate what we’ll see when the role is ready for prime time:
- How to use Chrome?
- How to download stuff for later?
- How to use the mode for Incognito?
- How to Use Chrome to Scan?
- How to look for your voice with it?
The video tutorial code in Canary only applies to Chrome for Android, so we don’t expect to see this functionality for the desktop or the iOS edition of Chrome on Chrome. Many of you do not need to watch any of these videos, but it’s still nice to know that Chrome is still being polished by Google.
